Angie is part of our Creative Kinections Institute faculty and teaches our Dance / Movement Therapy class for our Creative Arts Therapy Course
Angie received her M.S. in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute in May of 2009. Angie is currently employed with the Mount Sinai Hospital System as the Supervisor to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist at St Luke’s and West Hospitals. Clinically, Angie has experience with Domestic Violence, the elderly, Students of NYC public schools. and children with disabilities. Angie currently is the Public Relations Chairperson of the ADTA 2018-2020. Angie was recognized in 2015 as “Leader of Tomorrow” at the 50th Annual ADTA conference in San Diego. Angie also co-authored an article that was published in the American Dance Therapy journal titled “Reciprocity, Collaboration, and Relationship: The Role of Social Media in Propelling Dance/Movement Therapy into the next 50 years.” Angie presented at the ADTA Annual conference, the EADMT annual conference, and other conferences around NYC. Angie also actively volunteers with TAPS: Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors at their Good Grief Camps held for the families of the fallen military.
